Platinum An Grá Diamond Earrings
Exquisitely handmade drop earrings made from reclaimed platinum and diamonds reimagined into an elegant contemporary earrings that will shine on any occasion or outfit. The earrings, at first glance, are elegant and simple, but nothing is less true. The An Grá collection is steeped in detail. Some for beauty, technical merit, or to tell an intimate personal story of love - love for Ireland, identity and self.
The front of the masterfully handcrafted spheres is set with brilliant cut natural diamonds with a total weight of 2.13ct, G colour, VS2 clarity and GIA Certified. The perimeter of the sphere is embellished with a line of pave set diamonds of an additional 0.28ct total weight. Leaving to stone unturned, the reverse is set with a heart-shaped diamond (0.30ct total weight). A small heart shape is pierced at the bottom - a little detail known only to the owner. The earwires are hand forged and beautifully tapered - a technique that stems back to finer victorian earrings, but rarely seen today.
