Sterling Silver Commence Ring
The Commence ring is inspired by the fluid forms and scale of Katusha Bull's stone sculpture. In keeping with Katsuka's stone working process, Siobhan hand-carved this phenomenal bombe ring from a single piece of hard wax. As the smooth external shape emerges from the wax, the next challenge is to work the interior of the ring whilst remaining sensitive to the design and reducing material weight to create a wearable piece of art. A lengthy process that exemplifies Siobhan's skill and artistry in the medium.
The result is a striking statement ring, set with a bullet-shaped prasiolite cabochon. The combination of contrasting matte and polish finishes serves to highlight the flowing curves of this spectacular design - A bold extension of the body.
This piece is currently available for immediate worldwide delivery in finger size L / US 5 1/2.
