Renowned Irish Contemporary Jewellery Designer, Séamus Gill has a strong local and international following. All his pieces are hammered out of a flat sheet of metal using traditional age-old silversmithing skills. He exploits the malleability and the working qualities of the material, stretching and compressing the metal to move it into elegant three dimensional forms. He works in harmony with the natural movement of the material leading to his work being compared to natural forms. His jewellery is elegant and timeless.
