Much of Cassie’s work is inspired by the sea and these exquisite figurative earrings are no exception. For these elegant drop earrings she was inspired by Medusa – one of three daughters of marine deities – who was said to have snakes for hair.
The elegant Medusa earrings start with an expressive female profile and her mop of hair, beautifully expressed in carefully handwrought curls of gold. The figurative stud fitting is connected to an elegant aqua blue amazonite briolette by way of a dainty circle of tube set rubies.
